Logros de la URSS:

-La esperanza de vida se duplicó y la mortalidad infantil se redujo a una novena parte

-El primer sistema sanitario gratuito y universal

-La seguridad social soviética:

Jornada laboral de 7 horas, 6 para especialistas.

Sistema de pensiones para ancianos e inválidos. Jubilación a los 60 años (para hombres) a los 55 para las mujeres, en trabajos duros (minería, industria pesada...) podía rebajarse a los 50. Para recibir la pensión completa había que trabajar entre 20 y 25 años.

Baja por maternidad, desde el inicio del embarazo, y un año tras el parto, unos 20 meses en total.

Baja por enfermedad: 100% del sueldo.

Un mes de vacaciones pagadas por el estado.

-El primer sistema educativo totalmente público y gratuito

- La URSS consiguió una igualdad plena entre hombres y mujeres.
